Norma Jean Eure

To know her was to love her –
Her smile – her charm, her warm embrace,
and her caring heart.

Norma Jean Eure departed this life suddenly July 12, 2008.  She was born January 9, 1962 in Norfolk, VA to Margaret M. B. Eure and the late Joseph S. Eure, and the youngest of six children.  She graduated from Booker T. Washington High School and the National Association of Cosmetology.

Norma was a faithful member of the Garden of Prayer Worship Center where she served in the Choir and on the Usher Board.  She was also a former member of Jerusalem Baptist Church.  She will be greatly missed but never forgotten.

She leaves to cherish her memories two sons, Jasmond and Jerrell Christopher Eure; her mother, Margaret M Eure; and sister, Donna Gibbs; four brothers, Joseph S. Eure, Jr., of Norfolk, Sherwood L. Eure of Chesapeake, VA, Horace L. (Lena) Eure of San Diego, California, Rex B. (Gwendolyn) Eure of Radcliff, Kentucky, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

She was the entrepreneur of The Touch of Class Beauty Salon of Broadcreek with a lucrative clientele.
