Brother Ruben Edmond

On Thursday, August 30, 2007, our beloved Ruben T. Edmond, affectionately known as "R.T.", entered into eternal rest.

He was born April 26, 1915, the eldest son of nine children born to the late Saul and Estelle Edmond in Tillery, North Carolina. He was educated in the public schools of Halifax County, North Carolina. he accepted Christ early in his life and became a member of Galilee Baptist church in Tillery, North Carolina. He was married to the late Betty Hill Edmond for sixty nine years and God blessed their union with five children.
